MTC Federal Credit Union Partners with Ardmore State Veterans Home to Honor Local Veterans

November 2nd, 2026 – ARDMORE, OK – MTC Federal Credit Union is proud to announce a new partnership with the Ardmore State Veterans Home, affiliated with the Oklahoma Veterans Foundation, as part of its $50K for 50 Years community giveback initiative celebrating the credit union's 50th anniversary.

Throughout November, MTC Federal will work alongside the Ardmore State Veterans Home to recognize and support the veterans who have given so much in service to our country.

As part of the partnership, MTC Federal will make an initial $4,000 donation and match up to an additional $2,000 in community contributions. With the support of local residents and businesses, the initiative has the potential to generate $8,000 in total support for the veterans served by the organization.

MTC Federal team members also plan to participate in the home's Veterans Day cookout celebration on November 11, joining residents and staff for an afternoon dedicated to recognizing their service, sacrifice and contributions to our nation.

"Our veterans have given so much in service to our country, and we believe it's important that we never lose sight of the sacrifices they and their families have made," said Kimberly Witt, President and CEO of MTC Federal. "As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, we want our community giveback efforts to be about more than financial contributions. We want to build relationships, get involved and support organizations that make a real difference. We're honored to partner with the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs and hope our matching commitment will encourage others in the community to join us in showing their appreciation."

The Ardmore State Veterans Home provides care and support to veterans who have dedicated a significant part of their lives to serving our nation. The partnership offers an opportunity for MTC Federal and the Ardmore community to demonstrate their appreciation in a meaningful and personal way.

"We appreciate MTC Federal's commitment to honoring our veterans and recognizing the importance of the service they have given to our country," said Rear Admiral James Bynum, U.S. Navy (Ret.), Executive Director. "Partnerships like this with ODVA and the Oklahoma Veterans Foundation demonstrate that our veterans are valued and remembered by the communities they helped protect. Having the MTC Federal team join us for our Veterans Day celebration, while encouraging additional community support, will make this recognition even more meaningful."

The partnership is part of MTC Federal's broader $50K for 50 Years initiative, through which the credit union is celebrating five decades of service by giving back to organizations that strengthen the communities it serves.

"For 50 years, MTC Federal has been committed to working hard for hardworking people," added Witt. "There are few better examples of that spirit than the men and women who have served our country. Supporting the veterans here in Ardmore is a meaningful way to put our values into action, and we're proud to invite the community to be part of that effort."

MTC Federal looks forward to joining the Ardmore State Veterans Home for its anticipated Veterans Day celebration on Wednesday, November 11, and supporting the home's residents throughout November.
