MTC Federal Partners with Mauldin Senior Center to Host Community Workshop
Mauldin, SC —February 4, 2026 — MTC Federal is partnering with the Mauldin Senior Center to host a free educational workshop designed to help seniors and community members recognize, prevent, and respond to financial fraud and identity theft.
The workshop will take place on Friday, February 13th at 10:30 a.m. at the Mauldin Senior Center and is open to the public. While the session is especially relevant for seniors—who are often targeted by scammers—anyone interested in learning more about fraud prevention is encouraged to attend.
During the seminar, attendees will learn:
- Common scams that target seniors
- Red flags and warning signs to watch for
- Practical ways to protect personal and financial information
- Steps to take if you believe you’ve been scammed
The event is part of MTC Federal’s ongoing commitment to financial education, community outreach, and protecting those most vulnerable to fraud and identity theft.
