MTC Federal Credit Union Announces 50-Year Anniversary Celebration in 2026 | A Yearlong Celebration of Service, Strength, and Community – Giving Back $50,000 to Local Charities

Greenville, S.C.— MTC Federal Credit Union is proud to announce plans for its 50-Year Anniversary Celebration in 2026, marking five decades of commitment to serving members, employees, and communities across its footprint. Since its founding in 1976, MTC Federal has built a legacy defined by one purpose: working hard for hardworking people.

To honor this milestone, MTC Federal will launch a yearlong celebration guided by the theme, “Celebrating 50 Years of Service, Strength, and Community.” The anniversary campaign will spotlight MTC Federal’s past, celebrate its present, and inspire its future through community giving, member engagement, and employee appreciation.

“$50K for 50” Community Giveback Initiative
At the heart of the celebration is “$50K for 50,” a special community giveback program designed to reinforce MTC Federal’s purpose-driven mission. Throughout 2026, the credit union will donate $50,000 to a host of local charities and nonprofit organizations that align with its core values and areas of service — community, education, and financial wellness. MTC Federal will also provide matching opportunities to the charities to increase the overall contribution.

Celebrating Members, Employees, and Communities
The yearlong celebration will feature a variety of events and partnerships that reflect MTC Federal’s deep roots in the communities it serves, including:

• Member Appreciation Events at all branch locations.
• Partnerships with local organizations and events such as the Greenville Drive, Greenville Triumph, and Gene Autry Rodeo in Ardmore, OK.
• A special 50th Anniversary Annual Meeting Celebration—a memorable evening combining entertainment, community recognition, and a look back at MTC Federal’s journey.

Internally, MTC Federal will also celebrate its team through the “Powered by Purpose in Action” initiative, a staff community service and volunteer pledge reinforcing the credit union’s culture and values.
