Membership

Eligibility

Members of approved employee groups are eligible for membership. Members' spouses, children, grandchildren, parents, brothers and sisters may also join. Retirees and their families from eligible groups also qualify for membership.

Qualifying Groups

Qualification
Community	Oklahoma: Anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Carter County, Oklahoma. South Carolina: Anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in certain prescribed areas of Anderson County, Greenville County and Pickens County, SC.

On-site Contractors	On-site contractors of approved companies are also eligible for membership.
Relationship	Immediate family members or anyone that lives in the household of an immediate family member is eligible. Immediate family members include spouse, parent, grandparent, siblings and children of living or deceased credit union members.
Associations	All members of the following associations are eligible for membership: Roper Mountain Science Center South Carolina Koi and Water Garden Society

A Lifetime Benefit

Once a member, always a member.
Once your accounts are opened, you and your family may remain active members for life, no matter where you later live or work. Even if you leave the employer that qualified you for membership, you'll be entitled to the same membership benefits as other members.

All funds in a "noninterest-bearing transaction account" are insured in full by the National Credit Union Administration through December 31, 2012. This temporary unlimited coverage is in addition to, and separate from, the coverage of at least $250,000 available to members under the NCUA's general share insurance rules.

The term "noninterest-bearing transaction account" includes a traditional share draft account (or demand deposit account) on which the insured credit union pays no interest or dividend. It does not include any transaction account that may earn interest or dividends, a negotiable order of withdrawal ("NOW") account, money-market deposit account, and Interest on Lawyers Trust Account ("IOLTA"), even if share drafts may be drawn on the account.
